Mom and pups arrive today. They were out of time but the wonderful volunteers for Bay City Animal Impound are driving them to our vet today where mom and pups will be given a quick exam and then move on to their 1st foster home.
Mom has a swollen ear that needs attention but so far pups are doing well. She has 3 males and 3 females all with lovely merle coats.
We have a few volunteers that are rallying together to try and find the ideal spot for her to raise her pups but so far we only have temporary spaces. If you can offer this girl a nice quiet warm space where she can concentrate on her new family - please email me at info@txlabrescue.org and we'll discuss possibilities.
So, keep her and the pups in your prayers and some prayers for her vet fund will help as well. in the next few months STLRR will have 7 more sets of vaccinations to pay for, 7 new micro-chips, 7 alter surgeries, 7 deworming, etc, etc.
